Trihydroxymethyl amino methane acetate can be used to prepare an electrolyte for a lithium battery, the main raw material of the electrolyte for a lithium battery according to weight is: Dimethyl sulphoxide 5-10, hydroxyureas 8-12, cytarabine hydrochloride 25-30, polyvinylpyrrolidone 6-8, bistrifluoromethyl potassium sulfonamide 2-6, lithium hexafluorophosphate 1-3, 2, 4-dichlorophenyl hydrazine hydrochloride 1-3, trihydroxymethylaminomethyl acetate 1-3, (4-amidophenyl) methylsulfonyl fluoride hydrochloride 1-3 ,N, N-dimethyl-p-phenylenediamine oxalate 0.5-1.2 parts. In the process of battery charging and discharging, the electrolyte prepared by the invention inhibits the capacity attenuation of the battery at low temperature, and can reduce the amount of gas generated by the electrolyte at high temperature, effectively prevent the battery from expanding, and improve the high temperature performance of the battery.
