About us:
3-(N-morphinoline) -2-hydroxypropanesulfonic acid, also known as MOPSO, is a zomeric biological buffer reagent similar in structure to MOPS (3-(n-morphinoline) propanesulfonic acid) except that MOPSO has an extra hydroxyl group at the C-2 position in the propane region. It is one of the "Good" buffer components that can provide a buffer range of pH6.15-8.35.
Purpose:
3-(N-morpholinyl) -2-hydroxypropionsulfonate (MOPSO) free acid is a zwitteramide buffer with a structure similar to MOPS and an effective pH range of 6.2 to 7.6. MOPSO can be used as a buffer component in various biological applications including DNA gel electrophoresis.
A novel zwitterionic buffer for biological research Uses A biological buffer for biochemical research.
Application:
1) 3-(N-morpholine) -2-hydroxypropanesulfonic acid can be used as one of the buffer components for copper correlation analysis;
2) together with other "Good" buffers, to investigate the effect of different buffer systems on DNA separation by discontinuous electrophoresis on rehydrated polyacrylamide gels;
3) as a component of the buffer charcoal yeast extract medium;
4) MOPSO-ethanol buffer system was prepared to immobilize urine-derived cells;
5) Used as a buffer system for the determination of bioremediation Marine crude oil by-products.
